Worship without Word of God is not worship
1) There cannot be any worship without the word
worship is not possible without word
Nehe 8:5,6
Ezra opened the Book(Bookof the Law). v5
They bowed down andworshipped the Lord v6
2) Word of God is alive and active Heb 4:12
What kind of Jesus do we have - we have an active and living jesus among us
Do not carry the Word of God like a dead book only ot be opened on a sunday morning in the church
Nobody can destroy the living word of God. Stay connected to it as it has the will of God for you.
Jesus is the Word of God, Word of God is jesus
If the word is in you, God is in you. If God is in you, God like things will happen amongst you.
3) Word of God is sharper than any double edged sword Heb 4:12
why do we need word of god in worship?
It sharply divides soul and spirit
Reve 1:2,3
blessed is the one who reads this
4) Worship should be done in spirit and truth
how? only through the word of god. Soul must be separated from the spirit in order to reach the spritual level of worship.
worship should be god-centred, not man-centred
A lot of our worship is soulish, it doesnt reach the spirit level
We need to understand what is soulish kind of worship and spirit kind of worship
present your bodies as a living sacrifice - this is true and proper worship Rom 12:1
5) Jesus and his discipes sang a hymn - Mark 14:26
This hymn came in the midst of the closing of the teaching of Jesus
