Scripture: Ezekiel 22:23-31
A. The Problem
The leaders of the people have betrayed their trust. They are guilty of robbery, violence & bloodshed
They have profaned the holy ordinances.
They have prophesied falsely. Proclamation of pure word is substituent by wishful thinking. They cover people’s sin with whitewash (Ezekiel 13:10-16)
Like leaders, like people. The Result vs 24 No showers nor rain. Rain is a symbol of divine grace. Jerusalem & Judah are compared to a spiritual desert. B. The only solution: Intercessor (vs 30)
One righteous person could have checked the moral collapse & literal collapse of the nation. Job 22:30 C. The Result (vs 31)
